Identifying precipitating and/or contributing factors to pain and inflammation are essential for treating pain effectively. These factors include identifying and treating food sensitivities, bacterial, fungal or viral infections, autoimmunity, hormonal imbalance, scar tissue from injury, infection, or surgery, poor sleep, posttraumatic stress, general stress and anxiety, heavy metal toxicity, brain chemical abnormalities, nutrient deficiencies, mechanical and structural imbalances, and drug side effects.

We offer many types of services to treat pain:

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a powerful modality within Traditional Chinese Medicine that can reduce chronic pain and inflammation by promoting blood circulation and by releasing natural pain-killing substances in the body called endorphins. Acupuncture is especially effective for treating rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and acute or chronic injuries.
Electro-stimulation Therapy

Electro-stimulation in conjunction with acupuncture helps increase endorphins to soothe muscle pain and relax muscle tension. It is performed via an electro-stimulation machine that passes small electric currents between pairs of acupuncture needles to contract and release muscle tension and promote blood flow to designated areas in the body.
Cupping

Cupping therapy utilizes flame-induced suction cups to remove stagnation and toxins from your body. By promoting blood flow to large areas of the body including one’s back, neck, shoulders, and extremities, cupping can reduce pain and inflammation and bring back proper blood flow and circulation to arthritic muscles, tendons, and sinews.
Ultrasound Therapy

Ultrasound therapy is a procedure that uses ultrasound for therapeutic benefit. By generating high frequency ultrasonic waves that travel deep into tissues, muscles, ligaments, fascia, and scar tissue, it creates gentle heat to reduce swelling and relieve pain.
Craniosacral Therapy

Cranialsacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that improves the functioning of the nervous system and releases tensions deep in the body to relieve acute and chronic pain.
Osteopathic Treatment

Osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) includes a variety of hands-on techniques to treat body structures to regain and maintain function. This also includes craniosacral therapy, which works with the subtle movement of the cranial bones and flow of cerebrospinal fluid. OMT can be used to treat a wide range of issues involving the interconnected networks of nerves, muscles, bones, soft tissues, vessels and lymphatics.
Needleless Acupuncture or Acupressure

This modality is perfect for those who would benefit from acupuncture treatment, but feel uncomfortable receiving needles or too sensitive to the needling sensation. Needleless Acupuncture utilizes gentle pressure on acupuncture points and directive movement of the limbs to regulate and balance the movement of Qi, relax the muscles, and reduce tension and pain.
Herbal Pain Patches for chronic pain

These patches break down scar tissue that could be blocking the injury from healing and then ignites the healing process in the underlying condition. The herbal formula works transdermally by weakening scar tissue and increasing blood flow to the area under the patch to bring nutrients in and carry scar tissue and metabolic wastes out. They work with the body’s natural healing process of inflammation to get back to a healed state. By allowing inflammation and hurrying it along, chronic injuries and conditions can be healed faster and without the negative results from trying to stifle inflammation.

In addition we offer nutrient and herbal supplementation, anti-inflammatory dietary plans, stress relieving lifestyle counseling, and stretching and gentle exercise recommendations to assist in promoting healing, improving blood flow, and reducing inflammation and pain. By addressing the root causes of pain we can offer an effective treatment plan customized for your specific needs to restore optimal physical, mental and emotional well-being.
