It is Dr. Yuka’s strong belief that each patient
needs to be educated and treated as a whole,
therefore, treatment should focus on the cause of
the problem, rather than simply relieving the
symptoms. Prevention is also an important
component of her healthcare paradigm. She strives
to enhance the person’s own ability to heal, to be
healthy and to stay healthy by utilizing a variety
of methods that are suitable for each patient.
Dr. Yuka was born and raised in Japan where
medicine is a powerful combination of ancient
wisdom and modern science. Her Japanese background
along with a Traditional Oriental Medicine
philosophy resonates in harmony with Naturopathic
Medicine. She now combines her teaching expertise
along with the knowledge in medicine to form a
dynamic symbiotic relationship to benefit those
seeking integrative medical care. Dr. Yuka’s
treatment protocol is the perfect blend of East
and West.
EXPERIENCE
Dr. Yuka has over 20 years of clinical and
teaching experiences combined. She has
trained in both conventional family medicine at
hospital-affiliated clinics and naturopathic
family medicine at private naturopathic clinics as
well as acupuncture and oriental medicine
clinics. As a Faculty member of South Baylo
University, Dr. Yuka instructs students in the
field of Diet / Nutrition and Physical
Diagnosis. As an educator, she conducts
